Shigeru Umebayashi (n. 1951). 🇯🇵 Compositor japonés. Lideró la banda New-wave (1980´s) y posteriormente empieza a escribir música para bandas sonoras (a la fecha 40+). Ha recibido múltiples premios y reconocimientos.

Marc André (n. 2002). 🇫🇷 🇦🇹 Marc-André Teruel, contrabajista francés-austríaco descubierto y promovido por Gautier Capucon (ver reseña #269 [19 junio, 2022]). Marc André se ha presentado con orquestas, ensambles de cámara, así como solista y junto con grandes músicos. Nació en una familia de músicos y a la edad de 4 años inició su aprendizaje de violín, un año después chelo, para luego descubrir y enfocarse en el contrabajo a partir de los 10 años de edad. Ha ganado premios y reconocimientos. Toca un contrabajo vienés 1827, en calidad de préstamo de un mecenas austríaco.

Véronique Teruel (n. ). 🇦🇹 Pianista francesa quien se ha desarrollado como pianista acompañante. Frecuentemente se presenta como dúo con su hijo Marc André; tal es el caso de la reciente grabación que te comparto.
